Mech Next – Project Expo | Thiran 2026

Innovation flourishes where structure is respected. To ensure fairness, inclusivity, and smooth execution of the event, the following rules are mandatory for all participants.

1. Entry Pass Requirement

• All participants must possess a valid individual entry pass on 06 February 2026.
• Entry to the venue will be strictly restricted without a valid entry pass.
• Entry passes will be verified at the venue.

2. Team Composition

• Each team must consist of exactly four (4) members.
• Teams are encouraged to be interdisciplinary, comprising students from different departments.

3. Project Presentation Requirements

Each participating team must present the following:

• A PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) clearly explaining:
  • Problem statement
  • Proposed solution
  • Technology stack used
  • Application and societal impact
• A clear workflow / block diagram illustrating the working principle of the prototype or product.

Clarity, structure, and originality will be key evaluation parameters.

4. Prototype Condition.

• Teams must demonstrate the actual functionality of their project.

5. Registration & Verification Process

To complete registration, participants must strictly follow the process below:

Step 1: Ticket Purchase

• Purchase the event ticket through the official Thiran 2026 ticketing portal.

Step 2: Registration Form Submission

• Fill out the official Google Registration Form using the link below:

• Step 3: Upload Entry Pass
• Upload the individual entry pass of each team member in the form.

Important Note:

• Registration will be considered incomplete if all entry passes are not uploaded.
• Incomplete registrations will not be allowed to participate or be evaluated.

6. General Guidelines

• Participants must adhere to all instructions issued by the event coordinators.
• Any violation of the above rules may result in immediate disqualification.

1. PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
   • Team Structure: Open to Solo participants or 4-member teams.
   • Eligibility: Students from any department but paper titles should be relevant to the theme.
   • Multiple Entries: Only one entry is allowed per participant/team.

2. PRESENTATION FORMAT

• Duration: 10 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes Q&A.
• Visual Aids: PPT required. Participants are advised to use clear diagrams, charts, and visuals.
• Technical Content: Models, prototypes, or simulations (optional) may be displayed if relevant.

3. ABSTRACT & SUBMISSION

• Abstract Limit: Max 250–300 words.
• Topic Rule: Presentation must strictly align with the topic submitted during registration.
• Originality: Work must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism leads to disqualification.

4. IMPORTANT NOTES

• Judges’ decision will be final.
• Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if required.
• Participants must report 30 minutes earlier to avoid disqualification.
