AI-DS – Thiran – Confluence of talents

Each team must consist of 3 to 6 members.
Teams may include members from different colleges.
Multidisciplinary teams (from varied departments/domains) are encouraged.
One member must be designated as the Team Lead (TL) for all official communication.

Code of Conduct

All submitted work must be original and developed by the team.
AI tools may be used for assistance, research, ideation, or debugging, but not to fully replace development.
A supportive, inclusive, and positive environment is expected from all participants.

Event Structure

The event consists of two rounds

Round 1 – Idea Submission & Prototyping

Tentative Deadline

Hackathon Kick-off: 02.01.2025

Submission Deadline: 11.01.2025

Shortlisted Team Announcement: 23.01.2025

Round 1 Submission Requirements

Teams must submit the following:

PPT Presentation

1. - Must use the official AI Agentathon PPT template.
  - Should include: problem statement, proposed solution, system flow, features, and innovation.

Prototype

1. - A working prototype demonstrating the core concept and functionality.Working prototype link (If Hosted)

Demo Video

- Duration: 3–5 minutes.
- Must show the prototype in action and explain the solution clearly.

  1. - Should contain source code and proper documentation.
  Note : Late submissions will not be considered.
  1. Final Round
  - Qualification Announcement:
    Selected teams will be informed via the Team Lead’s registered email ID.
  - Final Round Date: 4th February 2026
  - Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  - Final round includes:
    - Live/recorded demonstration
    - Explanation of the solution
    - Evaluation and Q&A by the judges

AI Innovators Expo: Innovate with Intelligence

A dynamic exhibition of smart solutions, from neural networks to Agentic AI.

Guidelines:

AI Innovators– Project Expo | Thiran 2026

Innovation flourishes where structure is respected. To ensure fairness, inclusivity, and smooth execution of the event, the following rules are mandatory for all participants.

Entry Pass Requirement

All participants must possess a valid individual entry pass on 06 February 2026.
Entry to the venue will be strictly restricted without a valid entry pass.
Entry passes will be verified at the venue.

Team Composition

Each team must consist of exactly four (4) members.
Teams are encouraged to be interdisciplinary, comprising students from different departments.

Project Presentation Requirements

Each participating team must present the following:

A PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) clearly explaining:
- Problem statement
- Proposed solution
- Technology stack used
- Application and societal impact
A clear workflow / block diagram illustrating the working principle of the prototype or product.

Clarity, structure, and originality will be key evaluation parameters.

Prototype Condition.

Teams must demonstrate the actual functionality of their project.

To complete registration, participants must strictly follow the process below:

Step 1: Ticket Purchase

Purchase the event ticket through the official Thiran 2026 ticketing portal.

Step 2: Registration Form Submission

Fill out the official Google Registration Form using the link below:

Upload the individual entry pass of each team member in the form.

Important Note:

Registration will be considered incomplete if all entry passes are not uploaded.
Incomplete registrations will not be allowed to participate or be evaluated.
