Event Overview:

Startup PitchFest is a dynamic platform where aspiring innovators present their business ideas in front of experienced investors, industry leaders, and startup mentors. Participants must communicate their vision with clarity, highlight real-world impact, and demonstrate the scalability of their idea.

 

The purpose of PitchFest is simple: Convince the panel that your idea deserves to become the next big startup.

Event Guidelines:

  • Eligibility

    • Open to individuals or teams (maximum 6 members)
    • Teams must ensure active involvement from all members

Pitch Structure: 
Every pitch must cover the following core elements:

    1. Problem Statement: Clearly articulate the problem you aim to solve.
    2. Solution: Present your product or service and its unique value.
    3. Market Opportunity: Target customers, market size, and demand potential.
    4. Business Model: How will your idea generate revenue?
    5. Competitive Advantage (USP): What makes your idea different or better than existing alternatives?
    6. Go-to-Market Strategy: How will you reach your customers and scale your startup?
    7. Team: Roles, expertise, and strengths of your members.
    8. Financials & Funding Needs: Revenue projection, cost estimate, and required funding.

3.Pitch Duration:

    • 5–7 minutes for the main pitch
    • Followed by a Q&A session with judges
    •  

4.Presentation Format:

    • Submit your pitch in PowerPoint, PDF, or similar formats
    • Use visuals (charts, screenshots, infographics, prototypes)
      to make your idea compelling and easy to understand

5.Originality:

    • All ideas must be original
    • Any plagiarism or copied content leads to immediate disqualification

6.Prototype / Demo (Optional but Strongly Encouraged)

    • A working demo or prototype adds significant credibility
    • Showcasing functionality can improve evaluation scores

Winning Criteria:

Judges will score each pitch based on:

  • Problem clarity
  • Innovation & solution strength
  • Market potential
  • Financial feasibility
  • Presentation quality
  • Team capability

In case of a tie:

The idea with stronger market potential & financial viability will be declared the overall winner.
