Rules & Regulations
1. Eligibility: ✓ All students who submit their papers by the specified deadline are eligible. ✓ Only original, unpublished work is accepted. Each student may submit only one paper.
2. Submission Guidelines: ✓ Papers must adhere to the provided formatting guidelines (e.g., page limit, citation style). ✓ Submissions should be free from plagiarism. Non-compliant papers will be disqualified.
3. Presentation Requirements: ✓ Shortlisted candidates will deliver a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. ✓ Presenters must use clear and well-organized visual aids (slides, charts, etc.).
4. Evaluation Process: ✓ A panel of judges will evaluate each paper based on a set of pre-defined criteria. ✓ Each criterion carries a maximum score and a weightage, as detailed in the evaluation table below. ✓ The total weighted score will determine the ranking.
5. Scoring and Shortlisting: ✓ Judges will score each paper on the following criteria: Originality & Innovation, Technical Content, Presentation Skills, Visual Aids & Organization, and Q&A Handling. ✓ Papers that do not meet the minimum submission requirements or guidelines will be eliminated from consideration. ✓ The top 5 papers with the highest total weighted scores will be selected.
6. Final Decision: ✓ The judges’ decision will be final. ✓ Any appeals regarding scoring will not be entertained.
7. Amendments: ✓ The organizing committee reserves the right to make necessary amendments to these rules and regulations.
