Round 1

• Duration: 5 minutes per team
• Hardware model presentation or video presentation of their working IoT model.
• Selection for Round 2 is based on the model’s presentation.

Round 2

• A new problem statement outlining functional requirements will be given.
• The team must design and develop a smart device using available IoT components.
• Testing will be conducted to ensure it functions as expected.
• Teams must demonstrate their device, explaining its features and how it solves the problem.
• Note: Basic sensors will be provided. If any special sensors are needed, bring them along.
• Bring your laptop with you.
• Winners will be determined based on the time taken to complete the task.
• Offline software must be used for project development.

Time Limit

• Round 1: 1 hour 30 minutes
• Break Time: 30 minutes
• Round 2: 2 hours
• 1 hour for designing and building the device
• 1 hour for testing, troubleshooting, and preparing the demonstration
• Evaluation: 1 hour

Evaluation Criteria

• Innovation: How unique and creative is the solution?
• Functionality: Does it meet the requirements and work as expected?
• Usability: How easy and practical is it to use?
• Connectivity: Is the device properly connected and working remotely or over a network?
