MUSIC: Boom Boom Box – Freestyle Beat Box and Rap Competition
The Freestyle Beatbox Competition is where creativity and rhythm collide! Contestants will showcase their unique talent by creating music using only their voice, beatboxing their way through energetic, improvised performances. It’s a platform to express individuality, where participants push the limits of rhythm, sound, and innovation. Expect to hear everything from smooth flows to intense beats, all crafted live on stage. Get ready for an electrifying experience that celebrates the art of vocal percussion and freestyle creativity!
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- For beatboxing, there shall be a solo presentation by participants in round 1. The performance time is max 2 minutes and accompanying instruments are not allowed.
- For the rap competition, there shall be a solo presentation by participants in round 1. The performance time is max 2 minutes.
- The language of rap must be only English, Tamil and/or Hindi. Accompanying beatboxer/backing track will be allowed.
- The top 6 contestants will go for the final round. Each contestant will get 3 mins for solo presentation and 2 mins for freestyling. The beat for freestyling shall be given on the spot.
