EVENT RULES

Event Overview: A thrilling debugging competition where teams identify and fix bugs in code. Points are awarded based on bug severity, testing accuracy, speed, and problem-solving skills.

Event Guidelines:

  • Languages: Python & Java.
  • Equipment: Participants must bring their own laptops.
  • Team Size: 2 members per team.
  • Rounds: 2 rounds of debugging challenges.

Scoring System:

  • Critical Bugs: 10 points each.
  • Major Bugs: 5 points each.
  • Minor Bugs: 3 points each.

Round Details:

Round 1: Initial Bug Hunt

  • Objective: Identify and fix bugs in 3 coding problems.
  • Time Limit: 30 minutes.
  • Scoring: Based on accuracy and severity of bugs fixed.

Round 2: Advanced Debugging

  • Objective: Solve 3 complex debugging challenges involving deep code issues.
  • Time Limit: 30 minutes.
  • Scoring: Higher weight for complex bugs.
